It is my upmost pleasure to welcome you to the first session of Mersin Bil College Model United Nations Conference. My name is Sudenas Türkmen, and I will be serving you as the Secretary-General at BILMUN’20.We understand the value and importance of beginners in MUN Society, as they are to be the future of this Institution. Therefore now, BILMUN is more than an annual conference with being accessible for all participants who are interested in embarking on a journey.

All of that being said,I believe that the Model United Nations comprises of a journey that all our participants take. Each experience is unique, distinctive, and special. Participants build self-confidence while improving their knowledge and understanding of the world and complex political scenarios. However, each participant will encounter complex situations, difficulties, and struggles as they travel on this road. Finally the participants who continue on this journey will get to see its destination, whether it pleases them or not.I ensure you all that I will be tirelessly working with my prestigious team with the aim of aiding you along this journey, and to best prepare you for the many other journeys with determined committees and teams. We are going to prove that this journey is more than just its destination. Join us, let's prove it together!
